Our Foot Care Services

Katrina Platt Foot Care offers basic, advanced, and diabetic foot care services. 


Services include: lower limb assessments, nail cleaning, nail trimming, nail filing, debridement and paring down of calluses, removal of corns, reducing thick nails, addressing fungal toenails, care of ingrown toenails, lotion, foot/nail monitoring, foot health education, and more!


Initial Assessment

DETAILS


During your first appointment with us, we will discuss your health history and your specific needs/goals to create an individualized treatment plan. Foot care will be provided.



DURATION & COST


Initial appointments are approximately 45-60 minutes in duration. 


The fee for an initial assessment appointment is $60.


Please note: if it has been longer than 6 months from your last foot care visit with us, you will have to book an "Initial Assessment Visit" appointment.



SERVICE ITEMS


Create client profile and treatment plan.


Care including:

  • lower limb assessments
  • nail cleaning
  • nail trimming
  • nail filing
  • debridement and paring down of calluses
  • removal of corns
  • reducing thick nails

  • lotion, foot/nail monitoring

Follow-up Visit

DETAILS


During each follow-up appointment, foot care is provided according to the treatment plan, which is reevaluated and altered as needed, in keeping with the person-centered approach of Katrina Platt Foot Care.



DURATION & COST


Follow-up appointments are approximately 20-30 minutes in duration.


The fee for a follow-up appointment is $45.

Maintenance care including:

Payment Information

Payment is due upon receipt of services.


Payment may be made with: cash, cheque, or e-transfer.


A receipt will be provided detailing services delivered, date, location, provider, and client name for remittance purposes.


Pricing is current as of November 1, 2024 and will be updated periodically.

Cancellation Policy

We reserve your appointment time for you. Please do your best to attend your appointment. If you are unable to make a scheduled appointment or need to reschedule, please call us and do so promptly so as to avoid being charged.


Missed appointments or failure to provide 24 hours notice of cancellation will result in the client being charged. If the client is more than 10 minutes late, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the client will be charged for the appointment.


Exceptions (I.e. sudden illness, unsafe weather, family emergency, etc.) to the cancellation policy are at the discretion of the health practitioner.
